Work on Under the Influence started on this web comic project in late 2009 and went on indefinite hiatus in April of 2011. This project allowed me to find and refine my skills as an illustrator and a writer, two skills I had a great deal of fun learning and developing.

It was a lot of work drafting scripts and strips time and again, throwing out and reworking what didn’t feel right to get it where it all ended up. Though it made me come to realize who my biggest influences are in the art form.

I’ve considered many times to revive the project, but with the drive to expand my depth of skill as a creative taking precedence, I find it difficult to put aside the time and write again.
